Short Bio

Cuban-American percussionist and Lead Singer Ivan Llanes released his debut LP, La Vida Misma, on March 22, 2024, marking his 20 years in music and debuting as a composer and lead vocalist. Known for his dynamic style, he has performed/collaborated with Grammy Winners like Arturo O'farrill, Nella, Carlinhos Brown, Descemer Bueno and Emmy Winner Katreese Barnes.

Ivan performs worldwide with top ensembles and is currently a member of the jazz pianist Mathew Whitaker's Quintet. As the lead vocalist of People of Earth, he's shared the stage with the Los Angeles Philarmonic and New World Symphony.
